David Wayne Hall (Dave)

November 29, 1942 – March 1, 2022

Freeport, FL

Dave passed away unexpectedly of cardiac arrest very early in the morning on Tuesday, March 1 at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. Dave leaves behind his wife, Cathy, the light of his life. He also leaves behind the family he loved and adored. Stepdaughter, Kimberly Randall McKinnis and husband, William R. McKinnis, along with four beloved granddaughters. He leaves behind stepson, Gregory Miles Randall and wife, Catalina, along with his two beloved grandsons. Additionally, he leaves behind two brothers in law, Jeffrey and John Franklin. Dave's parents, J.D. Hall and Eunice Roberson Hall were predeceased. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Dave was an amazing person who touched all those he met with his quick wit and sense of humor. He was gracious and polite, always wanting to be sure those around him were well taken care of. His passions and hobbies were numerous and included sports (especially Florida State Football), music, theatre, nature, historical and current events, his dogs, volunteering, and his beloved alma mater, Florida State University.

A date has not yet been set for a celebration of Dave's life. The family requests donations honoring Dave to go to Alaqua Animal Refuge, 155 Dugas Way, Freeport, FL 32439.
