Ms. Darlene Faith Annis, age 85, was taken to her Heavenly home on Sunday, March 12, 2023. She was born on September 23, 1937 in Merrill, Wisconsin to Marion Gano and Fern Goodfellow.

Ms. Annis was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Florala, Alabama. She was united in marriage on July 2, 1960 to Larry Annis. She was a graduate of Merrill Senior High School in Wisconsin, where she lived until 1990, when her and her husband moved to DeFuniak Springs. Darlene was a very loving mother and grandmother, who touched the lives of many.

Ms. Annis was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband, as well as four brothers and four sisters.

Ms. Annis is survived by her daughter Pamela Permenter and husband, Richard; son, Steven and wife Jenny; four grandchildren; Damien and wife Tracy, Clay and wife Jessica, Devon, and Haleigh; five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Ember, Ty, Oakley, and Leo; and several nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, March 17, 2023 at First Lutheran Church; 24512 Fifth Avenue, Florala, Alabama 36442.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 17, 2023 at First Lutheran Church; 24512 Fifth Avenue, Florala, Alabama 36442, with Reverend Sean Ballard officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in Darlington Baptist Church Cemetery; 4751 County Road 2, Westville, Florida 32464.
