Mr. Danny Joe Johnson, age 68, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. He was born on August 16, 1949 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Tony Orvil Johnson and Mattie Jane Bozeman Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was a resident of Lynn Haven, Florida. He was Pentecostal by faith and a member of Lynn Haven First Assembly of God. He spent many years working as a custodian for Silver Dunes Condominiums. Everyone who knew Danny loved him.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his father, Tony Orvil Johnson; and one brother, Theodore "Buddy" Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his mother, Mattie B. Johnson of Lynn Haven, Florida; his brother Allen (Judith) Johnson of Southport, Florida; sisters Jean J. (Raymond) Taunton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Freida J. (Gary) Smith of Bakersfield, California, and Frankie J. (Don) Gowdy of Lynn Haven, Florida; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverend Darwin Glass officiating.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Glenwood Cobb, David Johnson, Allen Johnson, Derrick Glass, and Cameron Johnson.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in the Hatcher Cemetery.
