Mr. Dannie Gene Goddin, age 67, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018. He was born on June 24, 1951 in Ponce De Leon, Florida to Gettis Goddin and Mallie Goddin.

Mr. Goddin was a resident of Walton County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Knox Hill Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as a carpenter for many years and at Vortex Interspace Products in Ponce De Leon, Florida. He loved fishing and hunting.

Mr. Goddin was preceded in death by his father and mother; his sister, Shirley Russell; brothers, Leon Morris and Louie Gene Morris.

Mr. Goddin is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rhonda Gail Goddin of Ponce De Leon, Florida; two sons, Michael Griggs of Ponce De Leon, Florida and Adam Goddin and wife Rachel of Oregon; one daughter, Rebecca Goddin of Ponce De Leon, Florida; two brothers, Tommy Goddin and wife Velda of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Wilber Goddin and wife Maria of Dothan, Alabama; one sister, Mary Mattocks and husband Matt of Texas, he is also survived by eight grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverends Rodney Infinger and Mike McVay officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in Old Mount Zion Cemetery in Ponce De Leon, Florida.
