Mr. Clinton Joshuah "Josh" Humphreys, age 33, passed away at 8:00 AM on October 2, 2022 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida (Walton County).  He was born on November 6, 1988 in Milton, Florida (Okaloosa County) to Billie Joneen Grimble (Humphreys) and Jack Simpson.

Josh had one of the biggest hearts and loved children, he spoiled all the children and they also adored him too. They loved his cool gadgets from strobe lights, lasers, fake snakes and his pool. Josh had no kids of his own but threw the best party for any of his sister or friends' children. His children are his fur babies Chi-Chi, Nova and Rex. Josh loved playing practical jokes, quoted movies especially Talladega Nights, "I wake up in the morning and I p*** excellence" and "If you aint first your last." He loved to help everyone and give advice because he genuinely cared for everyone. Josh was very artistic, creative and great voice impressions. He self-taught himself how to fix computers, his car, appliances and turned his house into a smart home. He truly made an impact on everyone's life and will be deeply missed. His hobbies were living life to the fullest by dumpster diving, bargain hunting/ couponing, painting and four-wheeling (Boggs & Boulders.) He had a great passion for music and excellent taste in a wide variety of different genres, He could do some of the best impressions of many different people. He loved all apple products and Bose. He was always making flower beds and doing home improvements. Josh was a great surveyor that spent many years with Land Engineering, he loved his boss like a father and enjoyed going to work with John Johnson. Josh started doing his own business and my property corners and was subcontracted by LES and his new employer Lynx, which he enjoyed making his own hours.

Josh was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Joneen Grimble; Nana Mary Humphreys; Papa Andy Humphreys; grandmother, Lillian Fran Simpson-Rich; grandfather Earl Simpson Sr. and his uncle on his father's side, Phillip Simpson.

Josh is survived by his Aunt Loretta Smith and husband Trip; his sister bear, Brittany Kuhl and husband Jon Kuhl; two nieces, Bella and Sky; his nephew, hunter; his father Jack Simson and stepfather Roger Grimble; Aunt and Uncle Marcia and Dale Morrison; close cousins, Samantha Smith, Sabryna Hernandez, and Nathan Morrison; and two best friends of twenty plus years Debbie McMillian and John Davis.
