Mr. Clifford Schofield, age 84, passed away February 17, 2026. He was born on June 13, 1941 in Gaskin, Florida to Benjamin Schofield and Annie Ruth Mathis Schofield.

Mr. Schofield was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a Veteran of the United States armed forces serving his country in the United States Army. He worked as a Supervisor at Shawell Farms working for over 26 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, especially floundering, and collecting antiques.

Mr. Schofield was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Schofield and Annie Ruth Mathis Schofield; brothers, Willard Schofield, Horace Schofield, Don Schofield, Lester Schofield and Richard Schofield and his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy Schofield.

Mr. Schofield is survived by four children; Glenda F. Martin of Milton, Florida, Gary Martin and wife Janet of Laurel Hill, Florida, Leslie Norris of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and T.J. Schofield of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; grandchildren, Nikki Galloway and husband Corey, Jennifer Myles and husband Lamar, Faith Fountain, Tiffany Norris, Bethany Norris, Kaylie Schofield; great-grandchildren Cody, Haleigh, Ansley, Jay, and Riley; great great grandchild, Branson and brothers, David Schofield, Freddy Schofield and Dan Schofield.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Garrett Family Cemetery with Reverend Scot Keppel officiating.
