Mr. Kerns, age 77, passed away December 1, 2023. He was born on March 31, 1946 in Deschutes, Oregon to Claude Ray Kerns, Sr. and Freda Evelyn Larson. Mr. Kern was a resident of Freeport, Florida. He loved his family dearly. He always knew best and would tell you his way. Fishing was his favorite sport. Mr. Kern was preceded in death by his father and mother; wife Patricia Kerns; and one granddaughter Trisha Derossett. Mr. Kern is survived by his only daughter, Virginia and husband Raymond Derossett; two sons, little Ray Kerns and Raymond Travis Kerns; Grandkids, Jacob, Joseph, Josuah and wife Trinity Derossett, Kayla and Bruce Kerns and Stormi Hensley. Great-Grandkids, Olivia and Autumn Derossett, Lionie, Ava, Kori and Oakley Kerns.
