Ms. Claire Camille Cosson, 26, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born on June 22, 1995 at Eglin Air Force Base to Burt and Tiffany Cosson.

Camille was a resident of Walton County, Florida. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She graduated from South Walton High School in 2014 where she played softball and basketball. She was a pitcher and outfielder on the softball team for South Walton High School and also Northwest Florida State College. She graduated from Gulf Coast State College, receiving her bachelor's degree in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Bay Medical Center and Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. She was also a travel nurse, working in New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. She enjoyed collecting and listening to vinyl records. She enjoyed sports and was very athletic. She loved traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.

Camille is survived by her father and mother, Burt and Tiffany Cosson of Euchee Valley, Florida; her brother McLeod Cosson of Euchee Valley, Florida; maternal grandparents Peg and Bob Zulager of Greenville, South Carolina; paternal grandparents Tyrone and Janice Cosson of Euchee Valley, Florida; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A time of visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the First Baptist Church DeFuniak Springs; 216 Live Oak Avenue E, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs with Reverend Tim Burnham and Reverend Rodney Infinger officiating. Burial will follow at Red Bay Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pregnancy Support Center; PO Box 561, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
