Mr. Christopher Jerome King, age 45, passed away August 24, 2022.  He was born on December 19, 1976 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Kenneth Earl King and Sarah Adams King.

Mr. King was a life-long resident of Walton County. He was a Veteran of the armed forces, serving his country in the United States Army, having served in Korea. He was a Master Wood Worker. Chris was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild, and becoming a grandpa. He especially enjoyed spending time with family.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his father Kenneth King, mother Sarah King and one brother Kenneth "Jerry" Earl King Jr.

Mr. King is survived by his loving wife of 17 years Rebecca Manning King of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and his children Joseph Cogswell and wife Kayce of Marianna, Florida and Austin Martin of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
