Carolyn Miller, a cherished soul graced with 76 years of love and laughter, departed from us on June 22, 2026. Born on June 12, 1950, in the serene town of Dahlonega, Georgia, Carolyn was the beloved daughter of J.D. Botts and Ruth Elrod Botts.
Her journey led her to DeFuniak Springs, Florida, where she embraced the community with her warm spirit, having previously been a treasured part of Dawsonville, Georgia. A devoted follower of her Christian faith, Carolyn exemplified grace and devotion as a wife and mother. Her years of dedication as a secretary were paralleled by her artistic creativity, as she found joy and expression in sewing, cross-stitching, and needlepointing. A culinary artist in her own right, she delighted family and friends with her remarkable cooking skills.
Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Anthony Miller, her cherished parents, and her dear brother, James Franklin Botts.
Carolyn's legacy of love continues to flourish through her family. She leaves behind her two daughters, Stacie Nickole Gendreaux and her husband Duane, and Amy Harris and her husband William; and her dearly adopted son, Timothy Morrow. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Gordan Botts, and her sister, Brenda Sue Holland and her husband Frank.
In remembering Carolyn, we celebrate a life filled with love, artistry, and enduring faith—a life that touched all who knew her.
