Mrs. Carol Faye Balkom Hall, 84, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026. She was born September 26, 1941 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Clarence Howard Balkom and Mary Faris McCollough Balkom.

Mrs. Hall was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Ponce de Leon, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She worked as a school teacher, having taught sixth grade and also taught as an instructor for the Washington Holmes ARC. She served as a Pastor's wife, as her husband Earl Hall served at many churches as a Pastor. She sang in the church choir, played church handbells, lead ladies Sunday School classes and played the piano for many years.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband of 54 years, Earl Lester Hall; infant daughter Jennifer Carol Hall; her sisters Patricia Balkom Henley and Sharon Balkom Hagans and brothers-in-law, Malcolm Hagans, Jr and Robert Henley.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her son Clay Hall; daughter Mary Margaret Hall Schofield (Les); son Mark Hall (Cheryl); her brother Brian Balkom; grandson, Ean Schofield; nephews, Michael Hagans, David Hagans, Kevin Hall, Mike Hall, Wayne McKinney, and Shawn McKinney and many beloved cousins.

A time of visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 13, 2026 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church 1125 County Line Road, Ponce De Leon, Florida, 32455, with Mark Hall officiating.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made in her name to: The Friends of Sandy Creek Cemetery Fund.

Pallbearers will be Michael Hagans, David Hagans, James Souder, Dale Paul, Kevin Campbell and Ean Schofield.

Burial will be held at Sandy Creek Cemetery.
