Mr. Calvin David Tutwiler, age 78, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026. He was born August 12, 1948 to David and Lela Faircloth Tutwiler.

Mr. Tutwiler was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Christian by faith. He was a veteran of Vietnam Era, serving his country in the United Sates Air Force. He worked in Civil Service as an Agreement Coordinator at Eglin Air Force Base, for over 30 years before retiring. He was an avid sportsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge F& AM # 225, Glendale, Florida.

Mr. Tutwiler was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sandra Ann and stepson, Jonathan Horner.

Mr. Tutwiler is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Paula S. Tutwiler, son, David Rodgers and stepson Jason Horner (Gretchen Teasdale), grandchildren, Anna Horner and Christina Horner and great-grandson, Liam Horner, also survived by two nephews, Robert and Jason Schilder.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Dorcas Cemetery; 5836 McCallum Road, Dorcas, Florida 32539, with Reverend David Charlton officiating.
