Ms. Callie Mae Miller, age 85, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2023. She was born on May 9, 1938 in Holmes County, Florida to James and Beula Harrison Shirley.

Ms. Miller was a resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida. She enjoyed needle work, reading, and fishing in all kinds of water. She also enjoyed listening to her favorite radio station – WZEP AM 1460. Ms. Miller always ended a conversation with "I love you and God bless you."

Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her father James Shirley; mother Beula Harrison Shirley; her loving husband JC Miller; and two sisters Betty Howell and Margie Braddy.

Ms. Miller is survived by her son Jonah Miller and wife Teresa of Ponce de Leon; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters Virginia Carroll of Ponce de Leon, Wilmoth Gorr of Pensacola; one special friend Betty Blackmon of DeFuniak Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Monday, August 21, 2023 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church; 1125 Line Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 21, 2023 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church; 1125 Line Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455, with Pastor Toby Stone officiating.

Pallbearers will be Toby Stewart, Andy Stewart, Wesley Combs, James Combs, Jimmy Slay, and David Slay.

Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
