Bryce Allan
Deaton
June 6, 2007 – February 2, 2026
It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of our beloved son, Bryce Allan Deaton, who left us far too soon at the age of 18.
Bryce was incredibly smart and endlessly curious. He loved learning, not just for school, but because he genuinely enjoyed understanding how the world worked. He had a strong interest in language and culture and dreamed of someday living in Russia. He was actively learning Russian simply because it fascinated him, a perfect example of his thoughtful, inquisitive nature.
He also dreamed of becoming a medicinal chemist. Bryce was interested in aversion therapy and in developing medications to help people struggling with addiction. His compassion for others, paired with his bright mind, inspired his hope to make a meaningful difference in the world.
Bryce had a quiet but clever sense of humor. His jokes were unexpected and perfectly timed, and when he spoke, he always made us laugh.
Video games were one of Bryce's greatest passions and a special way he connected with his father. Even though they lived in separate states, they made time to play together, sharing meaningful moments across the miles. His cat, Suika, often sat in his lap while he played for hours, keeping him company in the quiet moments he cherished. Bryce also loved running. He competed in high school cross country and found peace in the stillness it provided, giving him time and space to reflect and connect with his thoughts.
Bryce was a hard worker and took pride in doing his best. He worked at Chick-fil-A, enjoyed Chipotle, and most of all loved his mom's tacos, which were his favorite meal.
As a child, Bryce was imaginative and enthusiastic. He loved Spider-Man, admiring the character's intelligence and strength, qualities that reflected much of who Bryce was, thoughtful, capable, and quietly strong.
Family meant everything to Bryce. He shared an extraordinary bond with his sister Madison. From a young age, they looked out for each other, and often, if you saw Bryce, Madison was right beside him. She was not just his sister, but his best friend, and their love and connection will remain forever unbreakable.
Bryce was deeply loved and will be forever missed. His family will remember him for his intelligence, his humor, his compassion, his dreams, and the unique way he saw the world.
He is survived by his mother, Tashunda Lelievre, his father, Tony Deaton, his stepfather, Kenneth Lelievre, his sisters, Madison Densley and Lily Deaton, and his brothers, Ty Deaton, Kaleb Deaton, Kai Lelievre, Jace Lelievre, and Sawyer Deaton.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers are being accepted.
