Betty C
Seese
March 5, 1936 – May 20, 2026
Mrs. Betty C. Seese, age 90, peacefully passed away on May 20, 2026. Born in Arlington, Virginia, to Franklin and Natalie Mosser, Betty's life was a testament to love, dedication, and community.
A cherished resident of Freeport, Florida, Betty was a devoted member of the Freeport Presbyterian Church, where her faith was a guiding light. Throughout her life, she embraced her roles as a loving wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandmother, and a doting great-grandmother. Her warm presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Betty’s work touched many; she cared for children as a school bus driver and brought joy to many others as a Deli Manager at Winn-Dixie. In her younger days, she found delight in bowling with her league, embracing friendship and fun with every game.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Franklin and Natalie Mosser, and her dear husbands, Dennis Lee Colbert and Edward Eugene Seese.
Betty’s loving legacy lives on in her children: Dennis Frank Colbert (Trish), Arthur Lee Colbert (Pamela), John Paul Colbert (Cindy), and Patrick Alan Colbert. Her heart continues through her grandchildren—Matthew, Jason, Julie (Vernon), Jessemily, Christina, Jennifer, Tanya, John Charles (Ryssa), Madison Ren, and Michael—and her great-grandchildren Saige, Lily, Kaleigh, Vanessa, Brianna, Tasha, Kai, Haylee, Joel, Mia, Nolin, Anna, and Elana. She is also fondly remembered by her brother, Wayne Mosser.
Betty C. Seese will forever be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the enduring love she shared with her family and friends. Her spirit will remain a treasured blessing to all who were fortunate to know her.
Celebration Services will be held at a later date at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida
