Mr. Barney Lee Sandow, age 89, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was born on March 11, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Morris and Bessie Anton Sandow.

Mr. Sandow was a resident of Destin, Florida. Barney will be remembered for being a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and wonderful friend. Anyone who knew him thought he was cool.

Barney was preceded in death by his father and mother; and his two loving brothers Gilbert Sandow and Joey Sandow.

Mr. Sandow is survived by five children Vicki Gustafson (Mike), Michael Soard (Ellyn), Suzanne Sandow, Lisa Sandow and Jennifer Dollah. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to invite all family and friends to say goodbye at a wake on the harbor after scattering his ashes in the water. No date has been set yet.
