Mrs. Barbara Ann Cummings, age 75 , passed away July 19, 2011 . She was born March 3, 1936 in Polk County, Florida to Howard Oliver and Floria Pannell. Mrs. Cummings was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida moving from Ft. Myers. She was Baptist by faith and a member of First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs. She worked as an office manager with OK Tires in Ft. Myers for 16 years and worked as owner and operator of National Tire Brokers in DeFuniak Springs for 22 years. She also helped to start the Pregnancy Support Center in DeFuniak Springs. Mrs. Cummings is preceded in death by her father and mother, three brothers: Howard Gordon Oliver, Burt Thomas Oliver and John Wayne Oliver, and two sisters : Emmajean Ingle and Mary J. White. Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband of 57 years Bob Cummings, one son: Jeff Cummings and wife Karen of DeFuniak Springs, one daughter: Donna Ann Huckaba and husband Earl of DeFuniak Springs, two sisters: Margie L. Loftin of Lakeland, Florida and Wilma Davis of Lakeland, Florida. Four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive by six great great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held 10:00~11:00 AM, Friday, July 22, 2011 at First Baptist Church, 216 Live Oak Avenue East, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, July 22, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Tucker and Reverend Jerry Chumley officiating. Pallbearers will be Kris Harrison, Earl Huckaba II, Zach Permenter, Aaron Stout, Austen Huckaba and Jayden Huckaba and Honorary pallbearer Tony White. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
