Mrs. Annie Littlefield, age 88, passed away June 7, 2009 in Wing, Alabama. She was born August 8, 1920 in DeFuniak Springs to Lonnie and Mary McLendon Slay. Mrs. Littlefield was Assembly of God by faith and attended Bradley Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, going to church and taking care of her family. She sacrificed her all to give her family the best she had. She also enjoyed her afternoon rides in the country. Mrs. Littlefield was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Dock Watson and Walter Littlefield, brothers Alphus, Nick, Eugene, Bud, Dock and Floyd Slay and sister Ida Lee Carroll. Mrs. Littlefield is survived by her two daughters Ina Ruth Price of Lakeland, Florida and Edna Ruth Elliott of Wing, Alabama; two brothers Odie Slay of Leonia, Florida and Albert Slay and wife Mavis of Center Hill, Florida; one sister Mary Snellgrove of Ozark, Alabama; four grandsons Devon Gainey and wife Pattie, Ronnie Gainey and wife Debbie, Royce Gene Gainey and Jimmy Price; two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00~8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Bradley Assembly of God Church in Wing, Alabama. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Bradley Assembly of God Church, with Reverends Thomas Earl Elliott and Roy Davis officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in the Magnolia Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, Florida Pallbearers will be Ron Slay, Jerry Slay, J.B. Slay, Josh Slay, Jimmy Ray Carroll and Ron Carroll. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
