Mrs. Angela Cursel Fields, aged 77, peacefully passed away on June 4, 2026. Born on December 10, 1948, in Georgia to Estelle Martin, Angela's life was marked by devotion, faith, and love.

A longtime resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Angela embraced her Christian faith wholeheartedly. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth touched all who knew her. For many years, she faithfully served as a bus driver for the Walton County School District, dedicating herself to the care and safety of children in her community.

Angela found joy in simple pleasures — delighting in crawfish feasts and family cookouts. She had a profound love for reading and deepening her understanding of the Bible, nurturing a dedicated prayer life that sustained her spirit.

She was preceded in death by her dear mother, Estelle Martin; her loving husband, Randal Fields; and a cherished great-granddaughter, Molly Sheffield.

Angela leaves behind her devoted son, Earl F. Huckaba II and his wife Bobbie; her daughters, Shonda Huckaba and Tiresa Huckaba; and her sisters, Glenda D. Wilson and Patricia Toy. Her family will forever treasure her memory and the legacy of love and faith she imparted.

In celebrating Angela’s life, we remember a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering commitment to those she loved. Her gentle presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
