Mr. Alvis Adair Clark, age 71, passed away February 24, 2022.  He was born on January 4, 1951, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Jewel and Samuel Clark.

Alvis worked at Crestview Aerospace for 47 years until he retired in 2017. Alvis was a simple man but enjoyed working with his cows and riding the field with his dog and best friend Max. Alvis enjoyed eating at his sister's house when she cooked for him. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Before he passed, he was able to teach Jamie some things about the cows so he could help him and that was special to him. He always wanted to hear about how Lane was doing with his baseball seasons and was looking forward to make a game or two this season.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents Jewel Walker and Samuel Clark, step father Joe Walker. One sister Sheila Clark and brother Ronnie Samuel Clark and brother-in-law James Carroll.

Mr. Clark is survived by three sisters Sandra Miller, Merle Carroll and Marilyn Clark Rogers; nieces Marie Carroll and husband Michael, Daphne Skanes and husband Anthony; nephews Tommy Miller and wife Tina and James Miller; great nephews Jamie and Lane Carroll; great niece Jocelyn Vickers; his aunts Shirley Spears and Mary Emond; step daughters Bama Sellers and Ruthie Myers and her husband Dewayne; step grandchildren Shiloh Oxley and wife Nicole, Joel Kelly, Jr, Anna Radney and husband Brandon and Michelle Myers; step brother Ken Walker and wife Jackie: step sister Teresa Smith; step nephews Chris and Joey Walker and Zachary Grooms; and numerous cousins and other family.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00 PM, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Terry Smith and Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Flowers will be accepted.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Carroll, Daniel Sims, Randall Yates, Rodger Moore, Shiloh Oxley, Joel Kelly, Jr. and Junior Mathews.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Yates, Johnny Wilkinson, Willard Beck, Jim Mathews, Ronnie Ard, Wendell Mitchem, Ralph Miller, Flynn Pert and Joe Vann.

Burial will be held at Limestone Cemetery
