Mr. Albert Joseph Farmer, age 80, passed away December 11, 2024. He was born on October 7, 1944 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Raymond D. Farmer and Rita Carry Farmer.
Mr. Farmer was a resident of Destin Florida. He was Anglican by faith and a member of Immanuel Anglican Church in Destin, Florida, where he also served as the church Sexton for many years. His great career for over 20 years was a Charter Boat Captain, which brought him to Destin. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and shared many great tales of his hunting adventures. He also had a black belt in Judo and Karate and loved to teach those skills.
Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Durella Farmer; one daughter, Margaret Ann Farmer Kauss and one brother, Ray Farmer.
Mr. Farmer is survived by his children, Mariko N. Lamb (Lance), Tara N. Smithson (Barry) and step-son Jack Heidman (Paige); grandchildren, Daniel Farmer, Braden Lamb, Kaitlynn Lamb, Devon Smithson, Ava Smithson and Heather Heidman; great grandchildren, Cooper, Ellie and Hudson and one brother, Tommy Farmer.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date at Immanuel Anglican Church; 250 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin, Florida 32541
