Mrs. Jearline Peacock Kirkland, age 76, of DeFuniak Springs passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013. She was born March 9, 1936 in Westville, Florida to Elbert and Dolly Clark.

Mrs. Kirkland is preceded in death by her adopted parents George and Jimmie Lee Peacock; three sons Royce W. Wilson, Larry D. Wilson and Weldon R. Wilson; one brother R.D. Peacock; one grandson Clint Wilson and one sister Earline Powell.

Mrs. Kirkland is survived by her loving husband Franklin Levoy Kirkland of 19 years; two daughters Dorinda Wilson Parker and husband Roy of Alma, Georgia and Dolly Simmons Ayres and husband Norman of DeFuniak Springs; three sons Randy C. Simmons of Pensacola, Gary C. Simons of Graceville, and Jason E. Nowling and wife Traci of Alachua; half-brother Michael Clark and half-sister Jacqueline Clark Mahon. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren Wendell Kelly, Joyce Wilson, Amanda Griffen, Randall Wilson, Don Wilson, Laresa Avent, Chris Moore, Natasha Hughes, Renzor Wilson, Tiffany Gainey Johnson, Jessica Gainey, Hunter Gainey, Nicole Gainey, Kaitlyn Nowling and Kyler Nowling; 23 great grandchildren; step children Faye Bryan and husband Jimmy of Geneva, Rhonda Jo Stone of Geneva, Janet McCormick and husband David of Niceville and Randy Kirkland and wife Lori of Geneva; her caregiver Martha Blough, also survived by special friend Patsy Spears and Aunt Lois French of Westville. Also survived by numerous, nephews and other extended family members.

A time of visitation will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2013 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue; DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue; DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435 with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Floral arrangements are being accepted.

Pallbearers will be Brad Drake, Joe Proffitt, Michael Bjorkland, Shane Abbott, Norman Ayres and Eddie Farris.

Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery in Westville.
